You might have heard bits and pieces about it in the news. And yes, it’s happening. The epic is being made into a live action film. And the mantle is being undertaken by the Baahubali filmmaker, SS Rajamouli. I seriously doubt there could have been anyone more apt to tell this tale. The scripting is underway and it will be made in from of a trilogy. The first of the installment is expected for a 2018 release. Actors like Aamir Khan and Amitabh Bachchan have openly voiced their desires to be a part of the project.

Chances are there  that you might not have heard about this one. Well, you should know now. With this film, India is getting its another superhero after Krrish and Ra One. Why you should be excited about this? I’ll tell you. It features Ranbir Kapoor as the titular mythological superhero. Moreover, Amitabh Bachchan and Alia Bhatt will also be in the film. Also,it is third venture of Ayan Mukherjee as a director who previously directed acclaimed films like ‘Wake Up Sid’ and ‘Yeh Jawani Hain Diwani’. It will be produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions. It is expected to release in the latter half of 2017.

The most relevant thing which is responsible for creating quite a buzz around this film is the actor – director pair. It’s Shahrukh Khan and Imtiaz Ali. It’s all so intriguing, if they get things right, they might as well kill it with their charm. Anuskha Sharma will be the leading lady for the third time opposite King Khan. The film is slated for a 11th August, 2017 release.

Dutt is the biopic of the controversial and yet very much lauded Sanjay Dutt, who will be portrayed on silver screen by Ranbir Kapoor. The film is being directed by one of the most prolific filmmakers of this generation, Raj Kumar Hirani. It is slated for a 2017 Christmas release.

Every Salman Khan starrer is hugely anticipated.Tubelight is a historical war film based on the Sino-Indian war. Salman Khan plays a soldier from India who falls in love with a Chinese girl. This is the third collaboration between Salman Khan and director Kabir Khan after Ek Tha Tiger and Bajrangi Bhaijaan. And on top of everything, Shahrukh Khan will also do a cameo in the film. It will release on the eve of Eid in 2017.

Based on the life of Rani Padmini, played by Deepika Padukone, her husband Rawal Ratan Singh played by Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer Singh as Alauddin Khilji, the film is expected to release on 17th November 2017. It will be directed by none other than the magnificent Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The film has been in news for all the wrong reasons lately, but the anticipation which is so genuinely building up supersedes all. After the grand success ofBajirao Mastani, expectation are more and we expect Bhansali would leave us in awe once again with his yet another magnum opus.

You must have seen Aamir Khan with his full grown beards and moustaches these days. Well, that is for this film. This Aamir Khan starrer film is expected to hit theaters by late 2018. The film will also feature Amitabh Bachchan and Jackie Shroff in pivotal roles. It is based on the novel ‘Confessions of a Thug’ by Philip Meadows Taylor. The film is set in backdrop of 1830s, based on the lives of Imperial deceivers who stole from the travelers in India.

The sequel to Robot or Enthiran, 2.0 is inarguably one of the most anticipated films ever. The budget of the film is cited at 400 crores, way more than any other film to date. While the megastar Rajnikanth will reprise his role, Akshay Kumar will be seen in a never seen before antagonist avatar. The film will release on 18th October 2017.

The epic saga’s conclusion is finally releasing after a 2 year long sabbatical on 28th April, 2017.Five years in the making, at the helm of SS Rajamouli, Baahubali : The Conclusion is frequently touted and very deservingly so as one of the grandest films of all times, in the history of Indian Cinema. The film will release simultaneously in five languages across India and is expected to shatter records and also set benchmarks along the way. If reports are to be believed, the film has already earned 500 crores prior to its release. And the most asked question will finally be answered. Why did Kattappa killed Baahubali?
